Artist/Gallery notes

Comments by other artists made in web critique group "The color combnation here works wonderfully and is well balanced. I'm not sure what to think though..it looks like they are dancing and that is what youtitle implies, but it looks like alot more is going on to me. For some reason it looks a little crazy or chaotic. I think I mught be getting that from their expressions and how they look like they are flailing about rather than dancing. I also like the dogs that you added in. They aren't distracing from the two people and it takes a momnet to even notice them" "bravo jeremy! i adore you for this wonderful mind.! i really like them because you show the inside feeling in this paint. their faces are really helpful and the nice hyper feeling in their treat. their movement is so useful and crative.so because of this nice feeling that you gave me thanks!/see my works if you like.yalda." "Again, a delightful dreamlike allegorical piece, Jeremy - the dance has caught them both and has taken over (and they thought they were in control of the dance) - or, is that a cat on the roof and they are being pulled by forces beyond their control - whatever. . .I love it." "2 people - 2 dogs - a roof top - a struggle ...hmmm who is leading whom? Who is saving whom? Who is dragging who towards the edge? Does he hold a revolver? An umbrella? Rain - a coming storm? An ending? Violence from passion...by gum Jeremy - you do get me thinking :-)" "so much food for thought here, wild dance they got going and they dont seem to be enjoying it either, love the idea of the guy seeking the cats tail for support, oh the floor is slippery, you sure got imagination, your chosen colours are always super, weldone jeremy" "Superb colours, fine composition with wonderful diagonal lines. A pleasant somewhat naive scene where I love the presence of these 2 well placed dogs. Sometimes I read critiques that say something like 'would you hang this on your wall'? I have something like this delightful painting on my walls..." " Brilliant fun whimsical work, of color depth contrasts and motion most excellent" "I didn't think of a cat's tail. What I thought of is the Magrette fella with his umbrella-- or it even has a gun shape. I don't see any whimsy here like Brain (above) either and certainly no fun. This seems dark to me. The woman has her foot on the ledge--who is keeping who from jumping? There's an anxious quality to this painting as I see it."
