Artist/Gallery notes

This is a sketch of the lighthouse near the settlement at Rottnest. I was interested in the movement of the rocks in the foreground combined with the turbulence of the sea, the repetition of shapes in the old boat and the headland. Sketches like these are not really designed, they just happen.
