From the Bicton/East Fremantle foreshore looking across the river there is a playing field in North Fremantle. The strong Norfolk Island Pines darkly dominate the landscape, both in reality and in reflection. I was reminded of Monet's wonderful landscapes of vertical trees reflected in water, but somehow this became stronger as the wild animals took over. The reds reminded me of Japan.
